Christmas Layout

This Christmas layout was easy to make and I love the way it turned out. The pictures do not do it justis! Most of the paper I used was Bazzill carstock and Prisim Gold cardstock. The sleigh, packages, and sack snowflakes came from Joy of the Season and Christmas Cheer cricut cartridges. The pattern paper that I used was some that I had left over from another project that I had done and I really loved the paper. The swirls were already embossed on the paper when I bought it. I did use the cartridge Tags, Bags, Boxes and More for the little tags that hang on the ribbons, and just stuck snowflakes on them. The ribbon is some that I already had, and for the center of the snowflakes I used brads. This time I didn't use the Tattered Angel's Glimmer Mist. I know, I know I'm just as shocked as the rest of you are. I really liked the way this layout turned out. It just goes to show that simple is just as nice as putting alot of emblishments on.
Another family page. The paper is from Peebles Downtown Time Square collection. The stickers are the from the same as the paper. The word TOGETHER, I used the cartridge Storybook. The cardstock is Bazzill. The flower was a white flower that I sprayed with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist Frosted Nights. The ribbon is some that I've had left over from some other layouts that I had done in the past. The buttons were some that I had in my stash. The sticker's I did double matt them and did pop dot to give more dimension.

Let It Snow

This is the Winter page that made for my niece. It's from the Bo Bunny Frosty Nights, (I think that is what I wrote down...lol) The background paper is Bo Bunny Polka Dot Card Stock, I've also used some Bazzill card stock. The Stickers are from Bo Bunny. The Tags were made with the cartridge Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More. There are some snowflake emblishments and snowflakes that I made using Joy of the Season, and Christmas Cheer. On the white snowflakes I used Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist, Snowflake. It gave the snowflakes, a soft blue shimmer on them, to reflect how the snow has that lil blue shimmer. If you've never tried the glimmer mist, I would highly recommend it. It's not one that gives you a slap in the face shimmer, it does give just a soft suttle hint of shimmer. I also used some silver snowflake brads that I had. The ribbon I got at my LSS. The flowers are the Got Flowers. I did add some brads to the center of them. That's about it for this layout. Hope you enjoyed

seeing it.
Here is and Easter page that I made for one of my niece's book. This one has no cricut on it. I used the Bo Bunny Easter line, Bazzill card stock and the Bo Bunny Stickers on it. I inked the edges with the cat eye's Chestnut Roan and for the blue bazzill paper I used Robin Blue. I mixed up some skittles in Ranger's Alcohol Inks to dye the skittles brown. The ribbon is some that I got at my LSS. Hope you enjoy it.

I Gave Birth to Her and I WILL be taking her out!!!!!!!!

Ok, so one of my three daughter's scrapbooks, and the others, well they just check out my blog because they HAVE to. Check Out Jennifer McGuire's Blog

I have added a new blog to my side bar. It's Jennifer McGuire's blog. If you don't know her, let me tell you a little about her. She lives 40 minutes from me, she works for Hero Arts, and yes I have met her in person. She comes in once in a while at my LSS and will teach a card class. She is so awesome! Any who, she has a wonderful blog and does lots and lots of videos, mostly it is card making but the techquines she uses you can incorporate them into scrapbook. I do it all the time. For the next several weeks she is doing two videos a week over at 2peasinabucket.com and she also puts the videos on her blog. I hope you all check out her blog and get so inspired by her.

Let's Start With Another Baby Book

Ok, so it's been a bit since I've posted last, but, I've got a very very good reason. I've been either getting ready or taken my finals at school. YES, I'm back in collage after tending to my family. Since my youngest is no longer in school, I thought it was time for me to go back and finish my degree. So with that said let's continue on with some scrapbooking. Another one of my nieces' had a little girl back in Oct. I'm still taking pictures of the book, plus I've got two more nieces that 1) just had a lil girl in May and 2) one is due in about 8 weeks. So I'll be posting all the pics. They prolly won't be all of one book, but I'll let you know which books they go in. Oh yea, I'm also working on a book for my granddaughter that was born in Dec. and another for my grandson that WILL be born in Nov., so with that said, let's get to posting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a page that
my niece can put the ultra sound pics on. I also added a poem that a friend of mine had and I copied the poem and then just typed it up on the computer. The flourishes I had. They were chip board flourishes that I painted with Ranger paint dobbers, I used Snow Cap paint and then while it was wet I added some doodlebug glitter. The silhouette was cut with bazzil black cardstock and I cut it off of a die that my LSS has. I don't think you can see but on each of the points I've used Hero Arts Gemstones, Clear. The ribbon was some that I had in my stash. I
don't remember the paper
that I used.
